For immediate release: SPORTS


The following are the results for the 2004 USA Judo National Championships
held at the Jenny Craig Arena, University of San Diego, San Diego, California
Over 150 athletes from all over the United States competed in the first day of
the event which is the final event before selection of athletes for the Olympic
Team Trials.  Tomorrow, another 150 athletes will compete in Olympic weight
class competition as well as 300 athletes ages 30 years and above competing 
in age-weight group competition.
